Cardiac MRI is not recommended for routine check-up programs unless there is a specific medical indication. However, in patients with conditions requiring regular follow-up, such as heart failure, valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease, or aortic dilation, detailed evaluation and monitoring with Cardiac MRI can be beneficial. Especially in cases like aortic dilation that require annual or biennial close monitoring, preferring Cardiac MRI offers a significant advantage by preventing the patient's exposure to radiation.
