NanoKnife ablation is a treatment method capable of effectively destroying tumors in specific anatomical regions without causing irreversible damage to vital surrounding structures, including blood vessels, bile ducts, urinary tracts, and nerves. Due to these distinct advantages, it has primarily been applied in the treatment of pancreatic, bile duct, and prostate cancers, with ongoing research exploring its utility in other cancer types. In pancreatic cancer, which is one of its most significant applications, the optimal patient cohort comprises individuals without distant metastases but whose tumors are deemed surgically unresectable due to involvement with adjacent critical vascular structures.
