There is currently no genetic therapy or direct drug treatment specifically targeting Angelman syndrome. At present, symptomatic and supportive treatments are applied to alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life. In light of current advancements in medicine and technology, research into several new clinical treatment methods for Angelman syndrome is ongoing.
