Thymic carcinoma is one of the rarest types of cancer found in the thymus gland. These aggressive tumors generally tend to grow faster and spread to other parts of the body, which makes their treatment more challenging. Compared to thymoma, the association of autoimmune diseases with thymic carcinoma is significantly rarer.
