Although the HoLEP method operates on principles similar to open prostatectomy, it is a modern surgical procedure performed entirely endoscopically (closed), without any external incisions. Thanks to this minimally invasive approach, blood loss is significantly reduced. Patients experience shorter catheterization times and hospital stays, allowing them to return to their daily lives earlier. Since the procedure is performed under direct vision, complete removal of prostate tissue can be ensured.
