In the management of osteoid osteoma, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), particularly aspirin, can be effective in pain management. If the patient's quality of life is not significantly impaired by pain, a symptomatic treatment approach with aspirin or similar pain relievers may be adopted. However, it should be noted that these medications do not eliminate the tumor itself; they merely provide symptomatic relief aimed at controlling pain.
