Bone tumors are generally divided into three main categories: benign, malignant, and metastatic (tumors that have spread to the bone from other organs). In medicine, liquid nitrogen is used in a wide range of fields, such as dermatology and infertility treatments. Interest in the potential of liquid nitrogen for the treatment of bone tumors is also increasing, and its application areas are expanding. This treatment can be used as an additional support alongside other methods such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Notably, unlike chemotherapy or radiotherapy, it offers a localized treatment option directly to the bone tissue where the tumor is located, without systemic side effects on the body.
