Subsequently, depending on the protocol used, the stem cell isolation process can range from 45 minutes to 2 hours. The injection itself takes approximately 1 minute. While the collection and injection phases are carried out with the patient, the isolation process is performed independently of the patient, during which time the patient can rest.
