The duration of stem cell treatments varies depending on the method applied. In applications performed via injection, the collection of stem cells typically takes about 15-20 minutes. Subsequently, depending on the protocol used, the stem cell isolation process can range from 45 minutes to 2 hours. The injection itself takes approximately 1 minute. While the collection and injection phases are carried out with the patient, the isolation process is performed independently of the patient, during which time the patient can rest. However, for stem cell procedures performed surgically using carriers called matrices, the total duration can be up to 1-2 hours, depending on the complexity of the surgical procedure.
