In Periodic Fever Syndrome, fever episodes typically range from 38.9-41 degrees Celsius, last three to six days, and can recur approximately every 28 days. If a child experiences 11-12 similar fever attacks in a year, this syndrome should be suspected. There is no definitive laboratory test for diagnosis. Diagnosis is made by a pediatrician based on the patient's history and a detailed physical examination.
