Diabetic foot is a rapidly developing wound on the feet of people with diabetes, resulting from nerve damage called neuropathy. These wounds, which may begin as cracks, fissures, or calluses, become very time-consuming to treat if left unchecked. The diagnosis and treatment of foot wounds are crucial in preventing foot loss; however, delayed treatment inevitably leads to tissue loss. Therefore, a multidisciplinary team approach and various treatment methods may be required.
