Uveitis is a type of eye inflammation caused by inflammation of the uvea, the middle layer of tissue in the eye wall, resulting in eye redness, pain, and blurred vision. Manifesting with symptoms such as swelling and redness, uveitis can affect other parts of the eye. It causes pain and damage by affecting the eye tissue. Uveitis is more common in people aged 20 to 60.
