In cases of non-communicating hydrocele and testicular hydrocele in children, it is generally preferred to wait until the completion of the first year of life. During this period, approximately 90% of cases tend to resolve spontaneously. If the hydrocele persists after the child turns one year old, then surgical intervention (hydrocelectomy) should be considered.
