To prevent shoulder dislocation, taking careful and proactive steps is of great importance. Activities that could excessively strain the shoulder or lead to trauma should be avoided. Environmental awareness and balance should be prioritized to prevent falls. If you engage in sports that heavily involve shoulder movements, regularly strengthening the shoulder muscles is crucial. Furthermore, performing adequate warm-up, stretching, and flexibility exercises before sports significantly reduces the risk of injury. If protective equipment (e.g., shoulder pads) is required for your sport to protect the shoulder, the use of such protectors should absolutely not be neglected. Individuals who have previously experienced a shoulder dislocation are advised to diligently follow physical therapy and special exercise programs aimed at strengthening the injured shoulder to prevent recurrent dislocations.
