While some side effects may occur after the measles vaccine, these are generally mild and resolve spontaneously within a short period. The most common side effects include high fever and mild, measles-like rashes. High fever can be managed with simple antipyretics. In very rare cases, swollen lymph nodes and joint pain in adult women may also be observed.
