An audiometry test is performed to diagnose individuals when they present with hearing complaints. Patients may directly request a hearing test or be referred to a healthcare facility on the recommendation of their relatives. It is mandatory to be examined by an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist before an audiometry test. The ENT specialist, if deemed necessary after their assessment, will refer the patient to qualified audiologists.
