Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that allows endoscopic observation of the abdominal cavity. It is an effective method, considered the "gold standard," especially in diagnosing and treating damage or abnormalities in the fallopian tubes. This procedure is generally performed within one week after the end of menstruation, under general anesthesia. Laparoscopy is recommended for serious fallopian tube problems, such as hydrosalpinx, characterized by the blockage of the distal ends of the tubes and fluid accumulation. Furthermore, it can also be applied in the diagnosis and treatment of various gynecological conditions like ovarian cysts, fibroids, and ectopic pregnancies.
