Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), a non-surgical procedure for aortic valve replacement, is utilized in the treatment of aortic valve diseases. Initially reserved for patients deemed inoperable, its indications have progressively expanded. It is now considered a viable option for patients with very high, intermediate, and, more recently, even low surgical risk, broadening its application beyond the initial high-risk cohort.
