Understanding breast cancer requires familiarity with its symptoms. These include a new lump in the breast or underarm, unusual changes in breast size or shape, dimpling of the breast skin, redness or rash on the breast or nipple, nipple retraction, pain in any area of the breast, and nipple discharge other than during breastfeeding.
