Endoscopic cervical disc herniation surgery can be performed via an anterior or posterior approach to the neck. In this minimally invasive method, only the herniated disc tissue compressing the nerve is endoscopically removed through a small 6-7 mm skin incision. After the herniated tissue is removed, there is no need to place a cage for spinal stabilization. The procedure is based solely on the removal of the pathological tissue, thereby preserving healthy tissues and maintaining natural neck mechanics.
