The primary goal of Kyphoplasty and Vertebroplasty procedures is to alleviate spinal pain and prevent the progression of kyphosis (hunchback). Clinical studies show that a significant number of patients experience complete resolution of pain. However, it should be noted that in rare cases, pain may persist after these procedures. Furthermore, if kyphosis does not improve despite Kyphoplasty and Vertebroplasty, additional surgical interventions to correct the spinal deformity should be considered.
