In patients aged 10-20 years presenting with a progressive increase in eyeglass prescription, frequent spectacle changes, and a history of allergic conjunctivitis, keratoconus should be strongly considered. For a definitive diagnosis in such cases, corneal topography (corneal mapping) is indispensable.
