Gastrointestinal system cancers are among the most common types of cancer both in Turkey and worldwide, particularly occurring in the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine. Advanced endoscopic methods are of great importance in the treatment of early-stage gastrointestinal cancers and precancerous lesions. Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) is a method used for the safe and effective removal of early-stage lesions, defined as those confined to the mucosa or submucosa and not having progressed beyond a certain stage. This allows for the complete removal of cancerous or precancerous lesions in their early stages, leading to successful treatment outcomes.
