Whole-Body MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) applications and points to consider are listed below:

* Screening and Check-up: It can be used for general health assessment and to aid in early diagnosis in asymptomatic individuals who have a cancer risk or concern, or a familial/genetic predisposition.
* Oncological Monitoring and Evaluation: It is a valuable tool for tracking the spread of the disease, response to treatment, and recurrence in patients diagnosed with cancer.
* Radiation-Free Imaging: Being free of ionizing radiation, it is a safe imaging option, especially for radiation-sensitive groups such as children and pregnant women.
* Complementary Imaging: For detailed evaluation of specific regions such as the breast, prostate, lung, and gastrointestinal system, it should be used complementarily with specific screening and imaging methods tailored for these areas.
* MR Angiography: When the evaluation of vascular structures is required, whole-body MR angiography can be performed using contrast material, as decided by the physician.

Important Considerations and Limitations:

* Whole-Body MRI does not replace targeted and more detailed specific MRI scans for the detailed diagnosis of specific pathologies of joints like the knee and shoulder, neck, back, and lumbar hernias, or breast and prostate. In such cases, focused MRI imaging of the relevant region should be preferred.
* For patients at risk for coronary arteries, Coronary CT Angiography is generally recommended as a more appropriate and comprehensive method for cardiac check-ups.
