Treatment for Sjögren's syndrome is symptomatic. For dry eyes, artificial tears and various eye drops can be used. For dry mouth, frequent gargling and attention to oral hygiene are recommended, as dental caries are common in this disease. Keeping the mouth moist, such as by chewing gum, can also be beneficial. For systemic symptoms beyond dry eyes and mouth, immunosuppressive drugs, primarily steroids, are used.

If any concomitant diseases are present, these are treated first. However, the risk of lymphoma is higher in individuals with Sjögren's syndrome compared to the general population.
