Antisocial Personality Disorder

This is a personality pattern lasting since the age of 15, characterized by disregard for and violation of the rights of others. It is commonly manifested by frequent lying, use of aliases, conning others for personal profit or pleasure, and repetitive acts that lead to arrest. It is also characterized by frequent physical fights and aggression, irritability, consistent failure to sustain work, and failure to fulfill financial obligations. Indifference and lack of remorse are present when harming or mistreating others.


Borderline Personality Disorder

This is a personality pattern characterized by instability in interpersonal relationships, self-image, and affect, and marked impulsivity. Individuals exhibit inconsistent and often strained interpersonal relationships, swinging between idealization and devaluation. Identity confusion and a persistent feeling of emptiness are present, along with recurrent suicidal thoughts, gestures, or threats. Inappropriate intense anger or difficulty controlling anger is also common.


Histrionic Personality Disorder

This personality pattern is characterized by excessive emotionality and attention-seeking. Individuals are generally uncomfortable when they are not the center of attention. Interactions with others are often sexually seductive, provocative, or flirtatious in inappropriate ways. They consistently use their physical appearance to draw attention. They display rapidly shifting and shallow expression of emotions. They are easily influenced and behave dramatically and exaggerate their emotions. They also tend to believe relationships are more intimate than they actually are.


Narcissistic Personality Disorder

This personality pattern is characterized by grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy. There's a tendency to exaggerate achievements and talents, and to see oneself as superior. They exploit others for their own gain and have an excessive need for admiration. They are unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others. They commonly display disdainful or arrogant behavior and attitudes.
