What are the symptoms of fibroadenoma?
Fibroadenoma symptoms can be generally listed as follows:
Fibroadenoma masses are distinct, smooth, well-circumscribed, and round.
A fibroadenoma usually feels like a lump that moves easily under the skin when touched.
It has a firm or rubbery texture.
Fibroadenoma masses are usually painless. However, they may sometimes feel tender or even painful, especially right before menstruation.
There may be one or more fibroadenomas in one or both breasts.
Unlike breast cancer, fibroadenomas usually do not cause nipple discharge, swelling, redness, or skin irritation around the breast.
