Polysomnography (sleep study) can also be performed at home to achieve more comfortable and realistic results in the patient's natural sleep environment. In this method, often referred to as 'Home Sleep Test' or 'Polygraphy', specially designed devices are used that minimize disturbance to the patient's nocturnal comfort, movements, and sleep quality. Patients are given detailed instructions on how to set up the device and easily attach the electrodes to their bodies. After the test is completed, the device is returned to the hospital the next day, and the collected data is evaluated by a specialist physician.
