Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a common condition in older men. After treatment of this condition, which can negatively affect patients' quality of life, with the HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) method, the removed prostate tissue is sent to a laboratory for pathological examination. This examination is performed to determine the presence of cancer, as well as other pathological conditions that may be present in the tissue.
