Many patients with HSP recover spontaneously without the need for treatment. In this area, while skin rashes may disappear quickly, a period of rest may be required. If there is severe joint involvement, treatment can be supported by using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Also, if joint pain is intense, analgesic medications can be used. If there is no response to treatment, organ involvement can be reviewed, and immunosuppressant drugs may be used for a period of time.
