Surgical intervention for Paget's disease is often considered when significant neurological compression is present. It is also favored in cases of skull involvement leading to hearing loss, or when pathological fractures occur. Additionally, surgical procedures can be effective in correcting severe skeletal deformities, such as bowing of the long bones.
