Elevated prolactin, also known as hyperprolactinemia, is a condition where the pituitary gland secretes above-normal levels of the hormone prolactin. Clinically, prolactin levels generally above 15-25 µg/L in women and above 5-10 µg/L in men are considered hyperprolactinemia.
