Diabetic foot refers to rapidly developing wounds on the feet of individuals with diabetes, resulting from neuropathy (nerve damage). If minor cracks, fissures, or calluses are not managed promptly, the treatment of these wounds becomes significantly more challenging and can be prolonged. Early diagnosis and effective treatment of diabetic foot ulcers are of paramount importance to prevent limb loss. Delayed treatment can increase the risk of tissue loss, leading to irreversible consequences. Therefore, a multidisciplinary team approach and the application of various treatment methods are critically important in the management of diabetic foot.
