In the treatment of bronchiectasis, the priority is generally infection control, for which antibiotic therapy is administered. To support airway clearance, additional treatments such as expectorant medications, bronchodilators, and respiratory physiotherapy may also be recommended. In specific cases, particularly in patients with localized disease resistant to other therapies, surgical intervention or bronchoscopic procedures may be considered.
