* Mononeuropathy: This is a type of neuropathy affecting a single peripheral nerve.
* Polyneuropathy: This is a type of neuropathy that typically affects multiple nerves symmetrically and often appears in the extremities of the hands and feet.
* Motor Neuropathy: This condition affects the motor nerves that control muscle movements. Symptoms may include muscle weakness, muscle twitching, and muscle atrophy.
* Sensory Neuropathy: This affects the sensory nerves that transmit sensations such as touch, pain, and temperature. Symptoms can manifest as numbness, tingling, burning sensations, dullness (loss of sensation), and pins and needles in the hands and feet.
* Sensorimotor Neuropathy: This is a type of neuropathy that affects both motor and sensory nerve fibers. It presents with muscle weakness along with symptoms such as numbness, tingling, burning sensations, and dullness in the hands and feet.
