Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) is divided into two main immunological subtypes based on the surface antigens of the leukemia cells (lymphoblasts): B-lymphoblastic leukemia and T-lymphoblastic leukemia. Of these subtypes, B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia is more commonly observed. The classification of ALL also includes genetic subtypes based on specific genetic mutations. Due to the acute onset and rapid progression of the disease, there is no clinical staging system for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
