When HIV infection progresses to the AIDS stage, individuals may experience various symptoms. These symptoms typically include rapid and unexplained weight loss, recurring night sweats, persistent or recurrent fever attacks, extreme and unexplained fatigue, persistent swelling of the lymph nodes, white lesions in the mouth or on the genitals (thrush or fungal infections), unexplained skin rashes, and chronic diarrhea.
