Fibrinous pleurisy is a condition characterized by the thickening and calcification of the pleura due to various etiologies such as tuberculosis, trauma, or radiotherapy. It is a rare clinical presentation. Diagnosis is usually established with Computed Tomography (CT); however, a biopsy from the affected area may be required to definitively determine the underlying cause.
