Following the ThuLEP procedure, patients can generally begin oral intake (food and liquids) approximately 4-6 hours post-procedure. As the procedure does not involve any open wounds or external incisions, post-operative dressings are not required. After the urinary catheter is removed, the patient's ability to void spontaneously is confirmed, and then discharge procedures are initiated.
