Spasticity is a symptom associated with damage to the brain, spinal cord, or motor nerves. The most significant cause of spasticity in our country is the lack of oxygen experienced by babies during birth due to various factors. Furthermore, the following neurological disorders can cause spasticity:
Cerebral palsy (CP)
Multiple sclerosis (MS)
Stroke
Traumatic brain or spinal cord injury
Traumatic brain injury,
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
Hereditary spastic paraplegias
Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD)
Phenylketonuria
