While there is no complete cure for amyloidosis yet, treatment options are available to slow the progression of the disease and manage symptoms. Particularly, in secondary amyloidosis types that develop due to another underlying condition, significant regression in amyloid deposits and improvement in symptoms can be observed as a result of effective treatment of the underlying disease.
