Liquid nitrogen cryotherapy is not suitable for all patients diagnosed with malignant bone tumors. Its application is generally contraindicated or less effective in the following scenarios:
* Tumors that have extended into an adjacent joint.
* Tumors exhibiting metastasis to other parts of the body.
* Tumors that have completely enveloped critical neurovascular structures.
* The treatment also demonstrates reduced efficacy in tumors that have shown no response to prior chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
