When HIV infection progresses to the AIDS stage, various symptoms may appear. These symptoms can include rapid and unexplained weight loss, night sweats, recurrent or prolonged fever, extreme fatigue, persistent swelling of the lymph nodes, white lesion-like sores in the mouth and on genitals (such as thrush), skin rashes, and chronic diarrhea.
