The treatment for thymoma tumors is determined by the stage of the disease. For thymomas diagnosed in early stages, surgical resection is the primary treatment method. This procedure can be performed using thoracoscopic or open surgical techniques. In more advanced stage thymomas, a multidisciplinary approach combining surgical treatment with chemotherapy or chemoradiotherapy may be adopted. However, in cases where the tumor has spread to distant organs, surgical intervention is generally not considered appropriate.
