One of the common digestive issues in babies is the regurgitation of food and liquids into the mouth without vomiting. This can then be expelled through the mouth or nose. Known as infant reflux, this condition typically appears in the first year of a baby's life, often peaking around the fourth month and gradually decreasing after the sixth month. Although it might be perceived as persistent, the problem usually resolves completely on its own by the time the baby reaches 12 to 15 months of age.
