Paget's disease, or Osteitis Deformans as it is medically known, is a benign and chronic bone disorder characterized by an imbalance in the body's bone formation and resorption processes. This imbalance leads to the abnormal thickening and enlargement of existing bones, resulting in structural deformities. The thickened and enlarged bone tissue can be clearly observed in radiological images, and the disease is often detected incidentally during routine check-ups.
