There is no medical test for autism; however, some screening methods can be applied. These are diagnostic methods that involve observing children. For example, the CARS Rating System is used. Children's communication with others, how they use their bodies, their ability to adapt to changes, and their verbal communication are assessed. The M-CHAT method also uses a questionnaire. Children under 18 months are examined.
