Thickening of the uterine wall can be one of the early signs of pregnancy. This condition is frequently observed in women with a positive pregnancy test. However, thickening of the uterine wall alone is not definitive proof of pregnancy. For a definitive diagnosis of pregnancy, a gestational sac implanted within the uterus must be visible during an ultrasound examination.
