During HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) surgery, a significant portion of the proliferating prostatic tissue is permanently removed. Consequently, prostatic regrowth is generally not expected, and therefore, the need for additional surgical intervention is rarely encountered.
