Osteoid osteoma is a benign bone tumor. It does not metastasize or pose a life-threatening risk. However, the associated pain significantly impairs patients' quality of life. Severe pain can lead to muscle spasm and contracture, potentially resulting in a perceived limb length discrepancy.
