Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) is performed via the mouth or nose, accessing the trachea and bronchi, similar to a bronchoscopy procedure. Depending on the patient's condition, the procedure may be performed under local anesthesia and/or conscious sedation, or general anesthesia (fully asleep).
